The Walled Garden at Beeston Fields Wedding Photography
Justyna and Aaron’s marquee wedding at The Walled Garden in Nottingham featured space hoppers, a relaxed atmosphere and love that radiated to create loads of intimate moments to photograph. In fact, I would say it would say that this one was my favourite wedding that I’ve photographed at this wonderful venue (and I’ve been a photographer at the Walled Garden 10 times at the time of writing)
Outdoor Ceremony at The Walled Garden
After a chilled morning of getting ready with their families, the couple tied the knot surrounded by all their loved ones in a stunning outdoor ceremony set amongst the lush greenery of the Walled Garden. Set in the heart of Nottingham, this venue offers a tranquil, convenient and versatile space for couples wanting to marry away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s a beautiful venue that I’ve photographed 10 times now, and its historic charm and intimate seclusion provide an array of stunning locations for wedding day photography. A marquee wedding, like Justyna and Aaron’s, also provides a blank canvas space that can be decorated to match your wedding day theme. Paired with its timeless aura and picturesque landscape it really is a venue that has it all!
Both the bride and groom chose classic looks that matched the summer’s day perfectly. Justyna wore a classic a-line gown with a lace bodice and floaty chiffon skirt. Her bridesmaids in a sea of pastel shades were by her side, all carrying pink rose and foliage bouquets. Aaron’s timeless pale grey three-piece suit was adorned with a matching flower buttonhole to complete the coordinated look. They were even joined by their furry friend who took his part very seriously and was dressed for the occasion in matching sage green bow tie.
Garden Games at the Walled Garden
Once the formalities were completed it was time for games on the lawn which included giant dominoes, noughts and crosses and some space hopper fun. This was always going to provide some entertaining shots for me as a photographer and the adults enjoyed it as much as the children (if not more).
Wedding Breakfast
After building up an appetite the wedding breakfast was welcomed. Interspersed with emotional speeches remembering loved ones and shot drinking, the marquee wedding celebrations were most definitely filled with a whole lot of love under one roof and capturing this is always my honour.
Using this beautiful venue and its stunning gardens as a backdrop was important for my couple, so after feasting I whisked the couple off to get some intimate shots before the night celebrations began. The summer light was on my side and paired with the festoon lighting in the trees it provided a romantic setting to capture this couple’s love.
The evening brought more games, a photo booth, dancing and pizza. What more could you ask for? After the couple opened the dancefloor with their intimate first dance it was well and truly time for them to party into the night with their loved ones, and, it was time for me to hang up my camera on another beautiful walled garden wedding day.
