Your Weddding is NOT a Photoshoot
I believe wedding photography is about so much more than capturing pretty photos of the newlyweds all day – that’s just boring!
Your wedding is unique, and your photos should be too.
That’s why photographing unscripted, off-beat and one-off moments is a massive part of what draws couples to my style.
I tell wedding stories through my photographs. I want my couples to remember the people they love the most having a great time together and to bring back the feelings of joy that their wedding day sparked.
I’ll never ask you or your guests to stop what they are doing to look at the camera.
This provides me with the freedom to capture hilariously good wedding photos because you and your guests will feel relaxed and forget the camera is even there.

On your wedding day, you won’t find me…
- Asking you to do anything awkward in front of the camera (unless you find holding hands weird…)
- Going all photography ‘ninja’ and pretending that I’m invisible. I will chat with your guests as it makes them feel at ease and makes for way better photos
- Spending ages getting artsy shots of your shoes that you won’t care about in 10 years (yes, I can predict the future)

Types of wedding my couples usually plan
Maybe you’re getting married in a church followed by a wild marquee reception, planning a tipi wedding or even an outdoor wedding on a family farm. Whatever it is you have planned for your day, the one thing that unites them all is – chair covers are an absolute no-go! They make me sick. How about you?
My couples love to DIY a lot of their wedding decor with friends and family to help. They are lovers of personal touches because they don’t want an off-the-shelf, cookie-cutter wedding. My couples are very relaxed, have a cracking sense of humour, love heartfelt speeches, and won’t ban small children from attending (what’s up with that?!).
I’ve been a full-time wedding photographer since 2019, and I’ve shot over 130 weddings. Along the way, my documentary wedding photography has received international acclaim for capturing both beauty and unconventional moments (ones that weren’t part of the ‘script’).
