I Shoot Genuine Moments
My goal is to capture genuine moments and connections between the people who matter most to you.
To do this, I shoot in a completely hands-off way. I don’t stage or direct anything and won’t ever ask you or your guests to look at the camera. This approach is called documentary wedding photography.
The biggest compliment that I get at every wedding is, ‘we didn’t even notice you were there’.
Creating authentic storytelling photos that will help you to remember what your wedding felt like and, not just what it looked like – it’s what my couples LOVE.

Relaxed ‘portraits’, and speedy family photos
Every couple wants lovely, feel-good photos of themselves together on their wedding day.
But many worry that they might not look photogenic, and they might feel camera-shy.
I won’t be jamming you into awkward poses or micromanaging your hands, you’ll just go for a short walk while I take photos along the way.
It really won’t feel like a shoot because it’s very relaxed, and we only need 10 mins max for this. I’m sure we’ve all been to weddings where the bride and groom have been seconded by the photographer only to return 40 minutes later…
I also make time for family photos because they are very important, but I keep them short and sweet so you and your guests can get back to the party.
On your wedding, I’ll never
- Ask you to do anything awkward in front of the camera (unless you find holding hands weird…)
- Pretend I’m invisible. I will chat with your guests as it makes them feel at ease and makes for way better photos during the day
- Waste time getting artsy shots of your shoes that you won’t care about in 10 years (yes, I can predict the future)
