Shottle Hall Wedding Photos
It was such a joy to photograph Emily and Josh’s gorgeous winter wedding at Shottle Hall, one of Derbyshire’s best wedding venues.
We were gifted with the most incredible winter light, and it was cool to be surrounded by a diverse range of North Western accents for the day; it made me feel at home because I grew up not too far from Liverpool! I may be a Derbyshire wedding photographer, but the North is a large part of me.
Emily and Josh hosted their wedding reception at Shottle Hall in the orangery, followed by dancing in the marquee. One of the quirkier, unexpected moments was capturing two guests dancing with each other while being separated by a wall of glass. One guest was outside smoking, and the other was inside, but that didn’t stop them from moving!
Other highlights included spotting one of Emily’s pearl hair clips that had fallen onto the dance floor 🙂
