Michelle and Kim’s urban wedding in Nottingham took place at the Council House in the city centre.
Just because the Council House was one of the few places where couples could get married in Nottingham, during this semi-lockdown time, it didn’t mean my couples’ wedding photos were going to be any less awesome! The great thing about an urban wedding is that you’re not bound by the confines of your venue, the whole city can be your playground.
Here’s what Michelle had to say:
“Even though the ceremony was brief, Nathan captured so many wonderful photos. For us, the best picture of our ceremony is the moment we kissed after we said our ‘I dos’ in front of our family and friends. It was the best feeling and Nathan captured it beautifully!
Afterwards, Nathan led us out of the Council House to take a short walk towards the side streets near Nottingham Castle for our photoshoot with our guests. The backdrop that Nathan chose looked amazing in our photos as it truly gave the urban wedding vibe.
We really enjoyed shooting with Nathan and we got to experience the City more as we continued to walk around for our couples portrait. We even got some cheers from the people at the pubs as we walked by!”
Confetti was on the cards too but it was left in the hotel room! Never mind, Michelle suggested making her own by tearing up her bouquets! It worked well but the main thing was that it was fun for everyone and it was a great way to end the photography. (There’s more on getting the perfect confetti photo HERE)
