If you want to break from tradition, how about holding your wedding reception in the beer garden of your favourite countryside pub?
Charlie and Tom had spent many a summer night in the beer garden of the Plough Inn (Normanton-on-the-wolds in Nottinghamshire), so it seemed like the perfect choice of reception venue for their laidback celebrations.
Having a marquee in the beer garden gave them freedom to DIY their décor. Charlie’s mum made beautiful paper flowers tied onto a garden arch for the marquee entrance and each table had hilarious quotes from their favourite show, Peep Show, as centre pieces.
