Hugs at weddings here we go!! Remember what it feels like to squeeze the heck out of your best friend?
Hugging your lungs out when you are re-united with friends and family that you haven’t seen for ages is one of the moments I love capturing at weddings. There’s nothing like a good hug!
Good weddings are packed with them and I love to get in on the action. I won’t be hanging back with a long lens like some voyeur weirdo snapping pics in a corner. I’ll be right there with you because that’s where the best shots are, you know the ones that make you feel the embrace. And the beauty is you won’t even know I’m there- seriously its like I have ghost super powers or something…
Looking back over these photos at this topsy-turvy time has reminded me of how precious these little moments are. You never know when your last one will be or when you’ll see said squeezer again. Cliché? Not in the world as it is right now…
