Why have a pre-wedding shoot?

A pre-wedding shoot, or engagement shoot, is a photo shoot that takes place three to six months before your wedding day.

Obviously, you are going to have so many amazing wedding pictures to share, so you might be thinking why have a pre-wedding shoot and why do I recommend them?

Your wedding photos will look even better

By spending time together before your wedding we’ll build our rapport as you become familiar with my shooting style. This will make you feel much more relaxed on your wedding day and this will show in your photographs. So say goodbye to any camera nerves.

The shoot will also help me to see how to bring out the best in you as I discover more about your characters, how affectionate you are and how spontaneous you like to be! This way, I can more readily create settings that will flatter you both on your wedding day.

A fun escape from wedding planning

You’ll get to spend about an hour together hanging out and laughing together with no pressure. Pre-wedding shoots are a great way to escape from the business of making wedding plans and they’ll leave you feeling even more inspired and excited about your wedding day!

So why not make some space in your diary to step away from all the ‘wedmin’? (yeah, love that word had to throw it in).

You’ll receive loads of lovely pictures of the two of you

In case your family have forgotten how beautiful you are, maybe you could use the images to create your save the date cards or invitations? You could even feature them at the beginning of your wedding album to tell a more complete story…
